3-2-Q Reflection
Project Description
This is my 32Q. 32Q stands for 3, celebrations 2 and a question I have for the teachers. We had to write this because This is what we have to write in order for our POL's to be... Like our POL's we need to talk about all our celebrations. It was a lot of fun looking back on the year.

Project Description
Before we even began Romeo and Juliet my class discussed about Shakespeare. Specifically weather he was relevant or not. So we read two articles be two teachers. Matthew Truesdale was arguing that Shakespeare is still relevant. While Diana Dusbiber was arguing that he wasn't relevant. We started talking about trying to persuade readers to your side which were Logos, Ethos and Pathos. Logos means logic and can persuade the audience by reason. Ethos means ethics which persuades the reader with credibility. Pathos means passion which can persuade the reader with an emotional response. Once we learned about those, we were ready to make a 5 paragraph essay.

Words
In this assignment we studied Shakespeare at the beginning of April. The first thing we started to learn were the basics of a sonnet. It should have 4 quatrains which are 4 lines of words which include iambic pentameter; Iambic pentameter is a type of rhythm that uses syllables to further emphasize its meaning. We also learned about the rhyme scheme the sonnets should have within the piece. It should go a,b,a,b,c,d,c,d so on and so forth. There should also be two lines at the end called the couplet which should tell the reader what the sonnet is also about.

So the sonnet took lots of time to work on and I had some strengths and some challenges I faced while working on the sonnet. A strength I had was coming up with the essential lines for my sonnet. It sounds a little wired but with the essential lines makes it so that I could be able to come up with lines faster but... It took me a while to come up with the rest of the lines. That was actually my challenge, to try and follow the parameters. I don't know why I think that was the easiest thing to follow within this piece.
Vignettes
Project Description
We read a book called "The House On Mango Street" and that book had many vignettes within it. Vignettes are a small illustration or portrait photograph that fades into its background without a definite border. We had prompts to answer just about our lives. Some of the questions were "describe a time you were uncomfortable", "When didn't you feel like home", "how could you describe your hair". From there you had to had to take inspiration from those prompts and make a vignettes from those. We had about 44 promts to choose from. The ones I chose were "What was the first thing you bought by yourself?", "When was a time you played pretend?", "What does your house look like?"

Reflection
A strength I had while writing this piece was creativity. now I know that sounds modest but I sort of, manipulated my prompts to make them more unique. Like Items I said I bought a video game card first. So I tried to work around I and made it like my very first vignette which was "Items" A challenge I had was actually coming up with the Vignettes. It took me forever to come up with that much "creativity" I was thinking about how to go about the 3 pieces.
"What I Know"
Project Description
The purpose of this piece was supposed to talk about what we knew and what we thought before the book"The House On Mango Street" because this changes our perspective on everything. From ethnicity to our very own looks. So this is to prepare us and help mentally prepare ourselves for this book.

Reflection
I think one of my strengths in this writing piece would be the detail I put within my piece. I feel as though I did a pretty good job with this. I included my dads voice within the piece to add that effect to the reader to really try to make them think. A challenge on this piece was getting started. I'm pretty sure it took me a solid hour to get started. That tends to happen when I'm trying to do a creative writing piece. I wouldn't do anything to this piece because I am very proud of it. This has probably been one of the best pieces I've written thus far.
Project Proposal
Project Description:
Our assignment was to write a proposal to our clients. It's easier said than done, The first thing we need to do was to write each section of a proposal individually. We did this because we could collaborate with one another to create a combined piece. Once we did that, we got critique from Ms. Britt to revise. It took us a little over 3 hours to finish with our whole proposal.

Reflection:
Over all the was very challenging because we had to go through several revisions. One after the other, it took lots of time to get it done. I don't think I had a strength in this part of the project because I'm not the best at writing and I tried to contribute with my group but I didn't have anything to contribute to. I don't think I want to revise anything because I thought we did our work we got it done and I thought we had a good job collaborating. I think If I could contribute more to the group I would be more productive.

"At this Moment I am"
Project Description
This paper was supposed to ask ourselves this question "What is my purpose in my life", So this piece was very challenging for me to write because this was our first essay and this is what gave our writing impression to Ms. Britt so i wanted to try to make it as good as possible. So my essay came out as this very real piece reflection who I am as a person. This was the first time I learned how to use MLA formatting so that was a big thing that I learned because we used this throughout the school year.

Reflection
A strength I had while I was writing this piece was how real I was in this piece. I wanted to impress Ms. Britt while i was writing this so I had a good impression with her. I wanted to put so much detail in this and my thoughts. I don't think I had a challenge in this piece. I'm very impressed with this piece just because I saw how much my writing improved over the years.
